Genomics Data Resources
Genome Alberta is proud to support initiatives that generate high-quality datasets and the tools needed to analyze and interpret them.
Precision Health Data Resources
The GlycoNet platform generates, integrates, and translates insights from data on complex sugars in the body to better understand diseases and develop new treatments across health, agriculture, and biotechnology applications.
TMIC provides advanced analytical tools and services to study small molecules in the body, supporting research, industry, and health innovation.
This AI-based test combines biological markers and patient data to improve prostate cancer detection and reduce unnecessary procedures.
DrugBank is a globally recognized online database that combines detailed information on drugs and how they work in the body to support the development of new treatments.
BSIDx, a tool developed by the Rapid Diagnostics (RID) team, uses advanced analytics to quickly identify bloodstream infections and the right antibiotics to administer in under five hours.
Agriculture & Agri-Food Data Resources
This database, developed by the Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC) provides detailed information on chemicals in livestock, helping improve animal health, farming practices, and food production.
Resilient Dairy projects are generating datasets, tools, and platforms to improve feed efficiency, reduce emissions and environmental impact, and make dairy farming more sustainable.
The BeeBiome Data Portal brings together global data on bee microbiomes to support pollinator health, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture.
Proksee is an easy-to-use online platform that helps researchers visualize and explore bacterial genomic data.
This tool facilitates microbial genomic discoveries that could impact food quality and safety, bio-fermented products, crops and livestock health, environmental monitoring, and drive future innovations.
Natural Resources Data Resources
This project combines genetic and environmental data for white spruce and lodgepole pine to help grow stronger, more resilient trees and improve forest management.
The geno-MIC data platform integrates microbial, chemical, and environmental data to study and predict microbially-influenced corrosion in industrial infrastructure for the oil and gas sector.
