2016 was a busy year in genomics and a successful one for us at Genome Alberta. We finished off the year with the announcement of 4 new projects worth
worth just over $35 million for Alberta-led research.
As we prepare for the next Large Scale funding competition we took the time to reflect on what stood out in 2016. We asked several researchers and research watchers in the province what they thought were some of the highlights of the year.
Freelance broadcaster Don Hill talked to them and prepared this look at an amazing year in genomics.
