Nobel Laureate James Watson, author of The Double Helix, will give the 2012 Telegraph Hay Festival's annual science lecture, in a talk chaired by novelist Ian McEwan.
Watson, the 1962 Nobel Laureate who helped discover the structure of DNA, will give the The John Maddox Lecture 2012 on Sunday 3rd June at 7pm. McEwan is the author of the novel Solar, whose main character is a Nobel-Prize-winning physicist and which deals with the subject of climate change.

The International Conference on Systems Biology (ICSB) provides an annual authoritative overview of the latest developments in systems biology. ICSB 2012 will be centred on the University of Toronto campus in the heart of downtown Toronto from August 19th to the 23rd.
